Actress Jennifer Lawrence called out a reporter backstage at the Golden Globe Awards after spotting him using his phone while trying to ask her a question.
The Hunger Games star was backstage after winning the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for Joy when a reporter attempted to ask her about the upcoming Academy Awards in February, she scolded him for failing to make eye contact with her.
"You can't live your whole life behind your phone, bro," she said. "You can't do that. You've got to live in the now."
The journalist apologized and tried to ask Jennifer the same question, but she cut him off again.
"We're at the Golden Globes," she added. "If you put your phone down you'd know that."
Lawrence's responses were met with laughter, but she remained straight-faced during the exchange.
