Jessica Sanchez Joins The Bench Family

The Fil-Mex American Idol runner-up joins the ranks of Adam Levine, Joe Jonas, and Lucy Hale as the brand's newest international ambassador.

Bench is on a roll! Just over a week after launching the dreamy Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as the new face of the brand, they are welcoming another musician into the family: the 17-year-old American Idol powerhouse Jessica Sanchez.

Jessica wowed  millions of Americans and Pinoys alike with her rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" during her stint on American Idol. People were blown away by the young songstress' strong and soulful singing chops, which ultimately landed her in the top two alongside winner Philip Phillips.

Fresh from wrapping up the American Idol Season 11 World Tour with her fellow finalists (the Philippines was the last stop on the tour), Jessica has been busy juggling local endorsements left and right. With her amazing talent and ultra-hip style, it's no surprise that the petite star and budding fashionista was tapped to be a Global Benchsetter.

Jessica looked super cute during the Bench press launch in a yellow Music + Me Bench tee, skinny jeans, and high-heeled studded booties. When asked about her personal style, she revealed that she is more of a laidback jeans-and-t-shirt kind of girl--a far cry from the glammed-up superstar-in-the-making we've seen on TV. Jessica shared her love for Filipino food like pancit, lumpia, and sinigang, and she also expressed her excitement over being in the Philippines for the first time: "Being here opened my eyes and my heart. Everyone has your back in the Philippines. I'm definitely coming back! It feels like home."
