During an interview with ABS-CBN for their upcoming film, Joshua shared how he deals with bashers: That is, he straight up IGNORES them! Joshua said that for him and other actors, it's better to conserve energy, even if comments seem to be below the belt. Kaysa pumatol. Waste of energy e.

He added, "Hindi ka nila kilala e. Never ako papatol sa ganyan."

He also talked about how he encourages his love team partner Julia not to reply to them.
