On July 21, Bea posted cryptic tweets and liked viral Instagram photos of Julia and Gerald getting allegedly all "flirty" with each other.
Not long after, Julia disabled comments on her Instagram account. Amid the controversy, she even shared how excited she is about her next beach trip and posted updates on her upcoming zombie movie Block Z and moving into her new home.
She even shared a funny message she received from her former love team partner Joshua Garcia. The two recently changed their relationship status from "being in a relationship" to being "best of friends.
Her latest post, though, seems to be a reaction to everything that's been happening.
"The difference between coffee and their opinion is—I asked for coffee," Julia captioned the photo, in which she appears to be enjoying a cup of coffee and looking all relaxed.
This is probably the first time Julia has even hinted at how she's been feeling, in light of recent events and netizens' reactions. She temporarily enabled comments but has disabled the functionality once again.
Today, Julia's aunt Gretchen Barretto sent her love to Bea, along with some flowers. Gretchen and Julia's mom, Marjorie Barretto, have been known to not be on good terms. Gretchen and Bea used to star in the Kapamilya soap Magkaribal.
