"Ako yung kagabi hindi nakatulog. Kahapon, nagbe-brainstorming kami dito, ako yung tensyonado kasi siyempre makakasama ko siya, e," Coco said. "Alam mo yung parang hindi ako puwede magkamali this time. Dito pa ba 'ko sasablay?
Coco also shared he made sure he supported Julia in her preparations for the role, which looks like will involve a lot of action scenes.
"Yung preparation sa mga baril, ganoon, tapos trinain ko siya sa baril, sa pagmomotor, tapos yung sa fight, lahat, ganoon. Kumbaga, yung suporta ba, kailangang ibigay."
Coco and Julia were first paired in 2012 in the teleserye Walang Hanggan, followed by the 2013 movie A Moment In Time, and lastly, in the 2014 soap Ikaw Lamang. Coco revealed that while they weren't comfortable at first working with each other, they gradually developed a rapport and built chemistry onscreen.
"Siguro 'yon nga, bilang yung personalidad namin pareho kaming mahiyain," Coco said. "Pero ang ganda doon, 'pag nakabuwelo, lalo 'pag nag-iinit na, doon mo nakikita ang chemistry."
"Siguro din yung comfortability namin sa isa't-isa, lalo ako, sobrang mahiyain ako, pero 'pag kasama ko siya, nare-relax [ako] and masaya," added Julia. "Masaya lang lahat."
Fans believe Coco and Julia have been in a relationship for years. In 2018, Julia flew to Germany to take a break from showbiz. In an interview, she revealed it was to spend time with her father. Fans, however, speculated it was to give birth, following reports from showbiz insiders. Julia made her comeback in 2020 in the action series, 24/7.
In March 2021, netizens were convinced the two stars spent a holiday in Boracay after they were reportedly spotted at an airport.
Coco and Julia have been working on a comeback movie which will be directed by Brillante Mendoza. Little is known yet about the plot, but reports confirm they were filming scenes in Pola, Oriental Mindoro.
