Anyone else still confused as to whether Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin actually got married last week?
First TMZ reported the pair made things official in a New York City courthouse, but then Hailey later tweeted: "I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I'm not married yet!" before swiftly deleting it. Seriously Bieber, I need answers.
Well, whether these two decided to get hitched in an ultra-secret ceremony last week or not, apparently there's no pre-nup involved.
Yup, JB might be worth approximately £201 million (P14.30 billion) but he's so darn in love that he didn't bother signing a pre-nup agreement. To be fair, Hailey's also worth £1.5 million (P106.71 million) herself so there's some serious dolla flying around.
According to Us Weekly, a source revealed: "They got legally married, but she believes marriage between God is the real thing."
The publication also reports that they "have no legal document in place to establish their separate property and financial rights in the event of a divorce."
But it looks like the whole thing was done in a bit of a rush, as The Sun reported last week that not even their "people" were aware of the sudden urge to tie the knot, which means finances weren't discussed at all.
"They didn't tell anyone on their teams what was going on and his people have been frantically trying to get his business affairs and finances in order," a source told the publication.
And it's not too late for Biebs and Hailey to protect their fortunes as there is such thing as a post-nuptial agreement, which is basically the same thing as a prenup.
Who said romance was dead?
