It's A Princess! Congrats, Will And Kate!

May 2, 2015: ICYMI, Britain's Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, 33, gave birth to a baby girl at 8.34 a.m. today! We're seven hours ahead of London time, so that's roughly 3:34 p.m. here in the Philippines.

As previously announced, the royal birth was tweeted using Kensington Palace's official Twitter account, @KensingtonRoyal. Live tweeting began when Duchess Kate was rushed to St. Mary's Hospital this morning, accompanied by Prince William:

It was quite a speedy delivery, considering @KensingtonRoyal posted that Duchess Kate gave birth less than three hours after she was brought to St. Mary's:

Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.

Here's a video of the easel being displayed. ~goosebumps!~

The little girl (yet to be named) will be fourth in line to the throne, behind her grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William, and 21-month-old brother Prince George.

As with the baby's older brother, "the heir" Prince George, Duchess Kate, and Prince William are expected to debut "the spare" (Ouch!) to the press and crowds outside St. Mary's Hospital's Lindo Wing with a little speech and photo shoot moment. And yes, Kate will look just about flawless; it does help when you have a royal hairdresser on call though.

The princess's name is expected to be announced in the near future—but, as many people have been doing in recent weeks according to British bookmakers, it may be a good idea to place your bets on Alice.

Congratulations to the royal family!
