Kathryn Bernardo just gave a fire-hot performance and we're not kidding when we say: our jaws were on. The. Floor.

This year, Kathryn was chosen as the face of Century Tuna, and she's been repping it well—what with her super-toned bod that's been turning heads, especially with her ab-baring outfits. What's even more striking was her performance at the brand's event on July 9. The 28-year-old actress slayed her sexiest dance performance to date! She wore a red two-piece workout 'fit that showed off her defined abs and her toned arms and legs—and it just oozed sexiness. We love this for her!

Her mother, Min Bernardo, proudly posted a video of her daughter's sizzling performance on Instagram. She captioned the post with, "Congratulations anak! So proud beyond words!!!"

Mommy Min thanked everyone for helping and for guiding Kath to achieve her body goals in time for the event. "Grabe ang hard work and preparation mo for this, anak! Na-test na naman ang self-control and disiplina mo…" she remarked.

Kath graced Century Tuna's "Best You Ever" event. It's the culminating event for the brand's "Superbods 2024" campaign, where more than 30 contestants showcase their healthy and fit lifestyle at the end of their almost two-month challenge.

Kathryn Bernardo's Fitness Journey

This isn't the first time Kath has shown her desire to lead a more active and healthier lifestyle. In July 2020, Kath happily shared with her fans how she managed to get those toned abs with her workout routine at home.

But as we all know, there's no routine set for everyone. Each routine will always have varying results for different people because each body is built differently. So, Kathryn tried to mix and match workout routines from multiple experts that her body could fully adapt to.

She did an ab workout focused on the core and stabilizer muscles. Then, she did the usual flutter kicks, leg raises, and some weight training—all done with the help of the ever-reliable yoga mat.

In March 2024, PEP.ph had an exclusive chat with Kath's fitness coach, Mauro Lumba, who revealed that the actress' initial goal was to actually "build a little more muscle and get toned." Kath also aimed to give her abs more definition. And with those goals in mind, Coach Mauro strategically included cardio, weightlifting, and core exercises in her workout program.

The fitness coach noted that they didn't have much time when they started their training for the aforementioned event for the brand. But Kath was focused and really determined to get that ultimate body she wanted for herself. "So we were not expecting much but she did great for the time we had. She was super disciplined, dialed in on her nutrition, and trained almost every day," he told PEP.ph.
