2016 may not have been a great year for the world, but Kendall Jenner smashed it. She turned 21, ticked some pretty big career milestones off her to-do list and continued to conquer social media. But amongst her busy schedule and envy-inducing Instagram pictures, the model and reality star has doubts and worries just like the rest of us.
In a post about her 'Peaks & Pitts of 2016' on her website robbery in Paris., the eldest Jenner sister admitted to struggling with her mental health. "Anxiety was a huge hurdle for me to deal with this past year (and security concerns didn't help),' she wrote, before adding "But I think I'm finally learning how to cope." The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had a scare with a stalker in August last year, and her older half-sister Kim was the victim of a
She also spoke about the realities of her glamorous life as a supermodel, admitting that she can feel lonely at times. "The hardest part about my job is being away from home so often. I miss my sisters, the rest of my family and my friends so much when I'm away," she said.
"But, it makes the time we have together that much more special."
Kendall, who walked the Victoria's Secret Runway for the second time and was one of the highest-paid models in the world in 2016, shared some of her proudest career achievements with her fans, saying "The fact that I was on the cover of any Vogue was mind-blowing, but the September Issue was beyond anything I could've imagined!"
With so many incredible milestones behind her, it's hard to believe that Kendall only turned 21 last year—but she's been taking advantage of being of legal drinking age in the States (um, sensibly, of course). "Turning 21 has been a ton of fun. I love that I can now drink rosé on a beach in Miami or check out cool bars in new places," she said. "And, you know I've been sipping on my signature drink now that I'm legal!"
She finished, "I can't wait to see where 2017 takes my career, but I know I have big plans!"
If Kendall can achieve so much in one year, we can't wait to see what comes in the next 12 months. Not jealous at all.
