In case anyone forgot or missed Kanye West's proposal to Kim Kardashian at AT&T Park in San Francisco in front of all her family and friends, here's a refresher: There was an orchestra. There were tears. There was the, "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" And there was also a lawsuit over leaked footage from that night.
Now, Kim and Kanye are $440,000 richer, TMZ reports, after winning a settlement against YouTube co-founder, Chris Hurley. Hurley was not invited to the engagement party, but obviously didn't want to miss one of Kanye's rare public displays of affection. The couple claimed Hurley snuck into the park—but they allowed him to stay after he signed a confidentiality agreement stating he wouldn't share the video. He did. And when Kimye saw that Hurley had leaked the video and had gotten over 1.5 million views after a week, they sued for unspecified damages.
TMZ says Hurley needs to pay the couple within the next few days in order for the lawsuit to be dismissed. But since Hurley just sold his portion of YouTube for $1.6 billion, that shouldn't be a problem...not that Kim and Kanye are desperate for the money either.
