Lady Gaga Announces 'Stupid Love' Official Release After The Song Leaked Online

It's the lead single from her sixth studio album.

Good news, Little Monsters! After the lead track from her upcoming album leaked online last month, Lady Gaga announced that “Stupid Love” will officially come out on February 28 at midnight ET (1:00 p.m. in the Philippines).

The early version of the single that leaked online is a “disco-infused anthem whose style harkens back to Gaga’s Born This Way album,” according to Variety.

Though she hasn’t revealed the album name, the word “Chromatica” appears in the “Stupid Love” artwork, which fans are speculating to be the official name of what she has called LG6 so far.

The upcoming album will be her sixth studio album, following Joanne in 2016. In 2018, she worked on the movie A Star Is Born and its soundtrack featuring the hit single, “Shallow.”
