Ever since Kate Middleton gave birth to her third child, a son, on April 23, we've been obsessed. We sat staring at a brown door for hours, waiting for William and Kate to exit the Lindo Wing with their new baby, and we weren't disappointed to see how adorable he was.
So now all that's left is the name. And today, two days after the little Prince's birth, Kensington Palace has finally announced it. Welcome to the world, officially, Louis Arthur Charles.
The Palace formally announced the baby boy's name on its Twitter and Instagram accounts at shortly after 11 a.m. (UK time) today, mirroring his time of birth four days ago.
The name chosen for the tot follows the pattern the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took for the names of their first two children—opting for a traditional first name followed by two equally traditional middle names.
Prince George's full name is George Alexander Louis, while Princess Charlotte's official moniker is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
We think Prince Louis sits quite nicely in keeping with his siblings. Great choice, Kate and Will.
