Makisig Morales just got married!
The Bagani actor recently tied the knot with Fil-Aussie and beauty queen Nicole Joson in a beach wedding in Australia. Nicole was Miss Earth Australia Charity 2017.
Makisig took to Instagram to share a biblical quote about how husbands should love their wives. His post featured himself and Nicole with an artistic overlay.
"'Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way, husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church...' -Ephesians 5:25-33
"I did not look for love but instead love found me and brought me back to him. I am grateful to be your other half, my love. I love you @_nicolejoson_ #Blessed #Grateful"
Nicole also shared a post about the kind of man one should marry, saying:
"So marry the man whose love is like God’s: faithful, eternal, and steadfast. This kind of love sticks through the hardest moments and buoys you through every storm. It’s a slow love, mundane in its 'dailyness.' But it’s the kind of love you wake up to every morning... because you can trust that it will still be there. I am yours and you are mine. @makisig228."
It looks like they had an engagement session sometime in January, based on these snaps:
In September 2018, Makisig and Nicole announced their engagement in a series of Instagram posts:
Makisig and his family migrated to Australia in 2014. He's best known for starring in the fantasy series Super Inggo in 2006 and prior to that, winning as a runner-up on the 2005 singing contest, Little Big Star. He turns 26 in December.
Congrats, Makisig, and best wishes, Nicole!
