Iggy Azalea has been stirring up some shizzle on Twitter. Again. It all started quite innocently when she engaged in a Q&A with fans.
Then, one (brave) fan mentioned the fact “Pretty Girls,” the Britney Spears song Iggy appeared on, flopped (it reached 29 on the Billboard charts).
@IGGYAZALEA even if PG flopped a little bit still getting a lot of views on YT and it's the summer anthem of 2015, so whatever we love you

Iggy responded, saying that while she liked the song, it was a tough climate to make a hit song these days.
She then explained she was only a featured performer and without more promotion, it’s hard to make a song a hit:

@rhuancesarr its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured...

Then everyone basically lost their sh*t, assuming Iggy was calling out Britters for not promoting the song more. To which Iggy politely noted:
"I don't have to suck the woman's asshole 24/7 to be her friend, do I?"
Er, no, you don’t have to do that Iggy.
Of course, Britney noticed the furore by this point and Tweeted this succinct and very Britney-like response:
Can’t wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to... #YouWantAPieceOfMe

We’re gonna go ahead and say this is a definite dig about Iggy’s cancelled Great Escape Tour. Miaow, Britney Spears. Miaow.
We also sort of love the #YouWantAPieceOfMe hashtag.
RIP Iggy and Britney’s short-lived friendship…
