Mika Salamanca Celebrates Her Birthday With Brent Manalo—And The Internet Can't Get Enough!

It's Mika Salamanca's birthday today, and everyone's celebrating her life—which, of course, includes her "duo for life," Brent Manalo. ICYMI, the Cosmopolitan Philippines September 2025 cover star just turned 25 years old.

"Stayed for another year and I'm glad I did," she captioned in her celebratory Instagram post. The post featured clips of her welcoming her birthday at her house and beside the beach.

We all know birthdays are best spent with loved ones, but it's a total win for us at Cosmo (yes, FR!) and for fans everywhere when Brent himself revealed that he celebrated Mika's birthday with her!

On his Instagram, Brent uploaded snaps of what seemed to be a beach trip with Mika. There was no indication when it all happened—just that Brent gave his Big Winner partner the cutest cake that said, "happy birthday -b :)"

Meanwhile, Brent's birthday post for Mika sent fans into a frenzy. He wrote, "bday girl @mikslmnc 🎂 i celebrate u today and every day."

Fans flocked to both their IG posts for the day and expressed happiness and love for Mika. The 25-year-old celebrity is now just reaping the fruits of her hard labor, and we're a little too happy for her!

A year ago, Mika was ready to leave showbiz altogether, but she took one last leap of faith and joined Pinoy Big Brother, which changed the trajectory of her career. Now, it's clear that there is space for her.

"I've been through a lot. I've been through the worst. I've been to good seasons of my life dito sa industry na ito. So sabi ko, baka hanggang dun lang talaga. [Sabi ko] pag hindi pa nag-work ito [PBB], tapos na talaga. Ayoko na—hindi na ako mag-showbiz, hindi na ako mag-content creation. Yung buhay ko talaga para sa family na lang, normal na buhay na lang," she reveals to Cosmo, during our cover story interview in August.

She's no longer just your fave content creator. Mika's making her mark as an actress in her own right, and has even dipped her toes in the music scene!

In fact, one of the first songs she released after PBB was a duet with Brent called "What If Tayo?" Well, since the two took the chance to be part of Pinoy Big Brother and they powered through the whole season by winning it together, the two have been quite inseparable.

After all, Brent has always been the one whom Mika can depend on ever since they became PBB housemates. "Hindi 'to pinakita, pero lahat ng decision ko, kulang na lang iasa ko sa kanya. Ganun ako katiwala sa kanya, kasi ganun siya ka-self-secure. Ang laki ng tiwala niya sarili niya, to the point na, pati ako kaya ko magtiwala sa kanya," she once admitted.

So, now, aside from having their first song together, Mika and Brent are also having their first teleserye together with their ex-housemates, their first Metro Manila Film Festival appearance together, and, obviously, their first brand deals together.

And last but not least, they celebrated Mika's birthday together. 😊
