OMG, Is Mika Salamanca And Will Ashley's Thailand Trip A Hard Launch? Their Friends And Fans React

It's not the first time that Mika Salamanca and Will Ashley have sparked dating rumors, following their trip together to Hong Kong earlier this year. But it seems fans can no longer ignore the buzz after seeing the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition stars together again on another overseas trip. This time, they were in Thailand for the Holy Week break.

In an Instagram post, Mika shared snaps of their trip—including all the side quests they went on, like café hopping and food crawling—while creatively dressed in a signature Thailand high school uniform.

Fans couldn’t help but ask for answers about the real status of Mika and Will's relationship. One fan asked, "Hard launch???"

Another commented, "Tapang talaga ni Mika! Oh ayan, hindi na mahihirapan mga bashers." They continued, "ayan na, hard launch."

Even their Pinoy Big Brother batchmates couldn't help but react to their trip. Klarisse De Guzman, Shuvee Etrata, Charlie Fleming, and Esnyr Ranollo also chimed in on the conversation.

"Lugi kay Bogart, walang partner," Esnyr joked, referring to the characters in his online skits.

"GOALS," Charlie responded.

The two are yet to address any "romantic" ties between them. Even on their previous trip in Hong Kong, Mika's manager Jan Enriquez confirmed that the two did travel together overseas only as "good friends."

"Since PBB Collab, Mika and Will have been good friends. Nothing romantic or anything," Jan said. "We are aware of this trip and we don't see anything wrong with it," he added.

Will and Mika have both built strong fanbases over time. But their earlier Hong Kong trip drew mixed reactions, especially since they were previously paired with other housemates during their stint on PBB. Mika is best known for her love team with Brent Manalo, while Will is often linked to Bianca De Vera.

Following the trip, the MikBrent Official fan page released a statement urging the public to respect Mika's privacy and avoid spreading misinformation.

"We respectfully ask that Mika be excluded from any romantic narratives or speculative interpretations related to this matter. We hope this clarification helps put an end to misinformation and allows everyone involved in the space, respect, and understanding they deserve," the statement said. 

Cosmopolitan Philippines has also reached out to Mika’s camp for comment on the photos, but they opted not to issue a statement, saying it's up to the public how they interpret them.
