Aww, Heaven Peralejo And Mikee Quintos Share How Their Friendship Got Them Through Their Breakups

We're all just too soft for the sweet friendship between Mikee Quintos and Heaven Peralejo. And in the latest episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the two shared the story behind how they went from just two hardworking, hopeless romantic actresses to happy single women skydiving in Hawaii together!

Apparently, their friendship story wouldn't be complete if it weren't told from each other's POV. Mikee shared that they go all the way back to high school—but not as close friends yet! At that time, it was nothing more than being schoolmates with a senior-junior relationship.

"May funny kwento pa yan kasi student council ako no’n. Tapos kinukwento niya sa akin nung Hawaii, hinuhuli ko [raw] siya sa uniform niya," shared Mikee. For the young Heaven, Mikee was that strict student leader whom she still admired anyway.

Mikee continued, "I remember her kasi nag-i-standout naman siya na no'n. Tapos nagkataon, after a few years, we worked in the same industry. Pero yun nga, magkaiba kami ng network so never kami nagka-chance to work together.”

Fast forward to 2025, fate proved to work in mysterious ways. The girls had their life-altering heartbreaks. In April 2025, Mikee and Paul Salas ended their four-year relationship, with her sharing that they are simply "still too young."

Just a few months later, her now-kindred spirit, Heaven, also had what she honestly described as a "painful breakup" with Marco Gallo, her fellow housemate in Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 back in 2016.

Then, a third character stepped in to finally connect the two. During Heaven's Santa Cruzan event, where she took the Reyna Elena role, she couldn't help but cry as she was still processing the breakup.

"Umiiyak ako habang mine-makeupan ako ng makeup artist ko. Tapos sabi niya, 'Huwag ka munang umiyak. Halika na, pumunta tayo sa Siargao." Thanks to their makeup artist, Marben Talanay, a.k.a. their friendship wingman, the two finally officially(!) met and did their "vibe check" before their Siargao trip.

We can all agree that the vibe check was passed, as the two have been inseparable BFFs since then. We couldn't get enough of all the pics they keep sharing online from their adventures together, and it didn't end after Siargao! 👀

In June 2025, Mikee and Heaven flew out to Siargao and shared glimpses of a trip that felt both freeing and grounding at the same time. They spent their days by the water, where freediving became one of their highlights.

In between dives, they lounged by the shore, moving from afternoon swims to spontaneous karaoke singing, fully leaning into the island's laid-back feeling. They also didn't forget to take their bestie pics with the Siargao scenic view. It showed them barefaced, sun-kissed, and present, capturing a whole new version of them outside the shootings.

If Siargao was where they slowed down, Hawaii was where they pushed things further. In April 2026, the two went on another girls' trip, this time trading island downtime for a more adrenaline-filled escape.

They explored different parts of the island, spent time in the water, and documented small in-between moments that made the trip feel personal. But the highlight was easily their skydiving experience—something that required a whole different level of trust in each other.

Mikee later shared clips and photos from the trip on Instagram, including that jump as her very core memory. In her caption, she wrote, "Thanks for saying yes to this kind of girls' trip @heavenperalejo!!"

When asked, the two agreed that their trips really did a lot for their healing and helped them process their emotions in a peaceful way.

"So akala natin may stages of healing, di ba...And we realized na ang healing it's not linear, it's messy," Heaven said. Mikee quickly added that while they went through those stages, it didn't follow the same linear path—especially for them. And that's what helped them become each other's anchor.

"Nagtutulungan kami. Kunyari ako napagdaanan ko na, tuturo ko sa kanya," said Heaven.
