Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have confirmed they finally  got married and, it's fair to say, we're obsessed.

The couple set the internet ablaze the day after Christmas when they announced their surprise wedding, which reportedly took place last weekend in Tennessee, in the form of plenty of adorable pictures.

Fans quickly flocked to the comments section of the newlyweds' Instagram to wish them well and so too did Nicholas Sparks, the author of the novel, The Last Song, the film version of which is where Miley and Liam's love story began.

Liam and Miley famously played the leads in The Last Song movie which was released in 2010. They met for the first time during filming which is why Miley captioned one of their wedding pictures "10 years later."

Their relationship contained a fair few ups and downs over that decade, all while in the eye of the public, but it's safe to say they're now stronger than ever.

Congratulations again to the happy couple!
