Nadine Lustre might be coming back to the music scene with a new banger. Though, we didn't hear it from her. We got the info straight from her beau Christophe Bariou.
The Filipino-French entrepreneur revealed it through his Instagram broadcast channel on November 4, 2024. We all know how Nadine's songs remain on top of our bop list even in the year 2024 (cue "Paligoy-ligoy"), so when a follower asked Christophe about Christopher's favorite song sung by his girlfriend, he was all game to answer.
"What is your fave song of Miss Nadine?" the question read. He said, "The one she is currently writing about haha" Of course, his answer piqued everyone's interest, garnering amazed emoji reactions and also that peeking side-eye. Everyone's definitely full of curiosity about this mystery song. After all, it's been a while since Nadine released a song. Her last was released over a year ago, with the single called, "Overgrown."
Here's another thing that Chris generously shared with over 3,900 Instagram followers on his broadcast channel: his first impression of Nadine. ICYDK, Christophe was not fully aware that Nadine was famous in the showbiz industry when they first met.
So more than Nadine's stature in life, what stood out for Chris—aside from Nadine's undeniable cuteness—was how she was so hardworking and purpose-driven. Chris told his followers, "Even on holiday with friends, as soon as she arrived, she was hard at work on her laptop while the others relaxed by the pool with cocktails. She came across as someone very purpose-driven and (maybe a little too) hardworking."
As much as Nadine got Chris interested at first sight, Chris was hesitant at first to get to know her better when he discovered that she was "kind of famous." Chris, being a non-showbiz guy, wanted to stay as low-key as possible. But it seems he just couldn't resist Nadine's charms. ;)
"I initially thought, 'Never mind, no way, I don't want drama.' (Always been trying to stay lowkey). But after talking to her one-on-one, I realized we had a lot in common, and she was surprisingly down-to-earth," Chris happily disclosed on Instagram.

Aside from teasing Nadine's (unannounced) upcoming song and talking a little bit about their love story, Christophe has been talking about veganism and their newly launched coconut milk brand called, Dehusk Milk. Yup, after launching Bukana Wines, the couple (who are both vegan, ofc) are set to release their plant-based milk to the market.
According to the couple, the milk brand will be the "Philippines' first locally produced and fortified coconut milk." As of November 4, Chris hasn't divulged the price of their new products. However, he assured the public that Dehusk Milk would be more affordable than other plant-based milks.

He wrote on his broadcast channel, "With such high quality and direct benefits to our farmers, those who've tried it say the pricing is pretty good. Plus, we expect it to lower as we scale up—and hopefully get subsidies (which the government should prioritize for locally-produced plant-based products.)"
Nadine and Chris' Dehusk Milk will be officially out in the market on November 30, 2024.
