It has been a couple of weeks already since the release of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's official breakup statements but it seems that there's no end to the controversies yet.
One of Kathryn's bestfriends, Alora Sasam made a bold move to unfollow Daniel and Andrea Brillantes on Instagram. Of course, fans were quick enough to notice and to share it all over the Internet. Netizens speculate that what Alora did is connected to the true reason for Kath and Daniel's breakup.
Prior to Kath and Daniel's official breakup announcements, Daniel and Andrea were rumored to have been secretly meeting each other. However, as of writing, the two are silent about the issue. Even Kathryn is mum about the cause of their breakup and has been living the best of her life as a single woman.

After Alora cut IG ties with Daniel, DJ Jhai Ho also posted intriguing statements. Although the showbiz reporter did not mention names, DJ Jhai Ho was found reposting a certain tweet about Alora.
The reposted tweet read, "@alorskieee kung yung pamilya at totoong bff's tahimik eh. Ikaw na bago pa lang naging close friend ng kathniel dame mong say..."
In one of DJ Jhai Ho's tweets, he expressed his dissent over someone's "unnecessary action" about the issue, or "sawsaw."
"Please naman wag na makisale oh... may pag unfollow ka pa eh..." DJ Jhai Ho wrote. "DI KO kasi gets talaga as if hindi siya pinakitunguhan ng GUY e diba naki barkada din naman siya. [...] kung tunay kang friend mag break man both sila protektahan mo," DJ Jhai Ho stated in a separate tweet.
Meanwhile, in a TikTok comment, Alora defended her actions by saying, "If alam mo rin ang nalalaman ko po, di ito comment mo. Try mo critical thinking. Wag panghimasukan kapag wala kang nalalaman. God bless!"
Some netizens have come to understand Alora's perspective as Kathryn's perspective. This is despite the unclear truth about KathNiel's breakup. Nonetheless, some think that Alora is just being a real friend to Kathryn.
From being called "insensitive" a couple of weeks ago, she is now upgraded to being the "ride-or-die" bestie. Some think that her actions towards Daniel are normal, especially if it's proven that the actor really cheated on Kath.
"So kung may parinig si alora sa mga taong nanakit kay kath, I'm all for that. Kath is very civil, she mastered to suffer in silence. So she needs friends na ready to be kanal for her," one netizen said, pertaining to Alora as the kanal friend.

Despite others seeing Alora as a supportive friend, some see her in a bad light.
