Oh hey, remember when we reported the absolutely mental news that the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC were teaming up to make a zombie movie called Dead 7? Yep, couldn't quite believe it was a thing at the time. Still can't now. But it is indeed a thing. It is indeed happening. And Nick Carter has just shared photos that prove it. MINDS. BLOWN.
Star, writer, and director of the boyband movie, Nick Carter, shared the first pics from the set of the movie today. And it looks just as wonderful as we imagined, with Joey Fatone wearing a leather jacket while carrying a massive rifle. Backstreet Boys' Howie Dorough wearing fancy/tough hand jewellery. And bandanas, the manliest of all boyband accessories.
Plus, Nick Carter wearing a full on cowboy hat, while standing next to blimmin' Jacob Underwood from O-Town. So many boyband members. So much leather. Life doesn't get much better than this.
Except it does, because here's AJ McLean on a horse.
And wearing ZOMBIE CLOWN MAKE UP.
And WEARING ZOMBIE CLOWN MAKE UP, ON A HORSE.
Nick also shared actual video footage of some of the high-speed stunts we can expect from the film.
Let's finish with a photo of a load of boyband members playing with their weapons.
No word yet on a release date, but we can now rest assured that Dead 7, a Backstreet Boys zombie movie, is indeed a thing that is really, truly happening.
