If ya haven't heard the news, Noah Cyrus and Lil Xan are officially over and, according to Lil Xan, their relationship was all a big ruse to generate some talk behind their new music. You may recall them showing up to the MTV VMAs and smooshing their faces together the day after they released their song "Live or Die." Those were simpler times, though, because since then, they've become sworn enemies and Lil Xan refused to release the video. However (!) the music gods and Noah have smiled upon us and finally released it, despite Lil Xan's wishes.
In the video, Noah and Lil Xan are all over each other—it's a little awkward and kinda cringey. Without further ado, here is "Live or Die" in all its uncomfy glory.
Clearly, this was written back when they were happily smooshing faces because the lyrics "I see the whole world through your eyes. Ride or die, you and I" legit mean nothing to these kids now.
Noah's EP, Good Cry, comes out on Friday and she said it's going to focus on issues like anxiety and depression. If we're lucky, there will be some Lil Xan tea in there as well.
