If you were watching the women's road race this past weekend, you probably did a double take at some point while thinking, Wait a minute, is Kate Middleton competing in the Rio Olympics?? Because it sure looks like the Duchess of Cambridge has a doppelgänger, in the form of French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot.
The 24-year-old champion from Reims, a city in northeast France, has an impressive résumé: at the age of 23, she became the first person in the history of cycling to simultaneously hold the world road title, world cyclo-cross title, and world mountain bike title.
Her amazing accomplishments aside, LOOK AT THOSE CHEEKBONES.
Sure, her hair is blonde whereas Kate is known for her luscious chocolates locks, but in a high ponytail, you can't really tell the difference.
And they have the same perfectly arched eyebrows, long lashes, and delicate, thin lips.
Not to mention the same winning smile, no matter what the circumstances.
