Kris Aquino has been a very busy lady this week. The host-actress has been helping brother President Benigno Aquino III welcome world leaders to Manila for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit. One of the world leaders who attended was Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto.
Kris shared in an Instagram post that Mexico specifically asked for her during the state visit. Naks!
The actress recently took to Instagram to post this photo of her "sunburn" after she spent hours entertaining world leaders in Intramuros, writing, "About to sleep, Bimb took this picture--decided to post this so we can all have a good laugh tonight sa karma ng kaarethan ko na SUNBURN ako ng bongga. Nabilad in Fort Santiago at the peak of the just before noon heat...You'll love the sense of humor of my sister Viel, baka daw my entire back nagka-lace patterned sunburn. Si Bimb naman said the shape of the sunburn is like the Batman mask from the Michael Keaton era. #LaughterIsTheBestMedicine. (I drank Paracetamol kasi parang lalagnatin ako sa init ng balat ko, any sunburn suggestions?) GOOD NIGHT. #LoveLoveLove
Many Instagram users cried foul over her post, saying, "She did not experience what most of the 'second-class' citizens experienced during this glorious week," adding, "Is it right to compare the sacrifice done by Kris to the sacrifices by every Filipino? Quits daw? Lol."
The said dress Kris was wearing on the day she got her sunburn was a blue lace-patterned Filipiniana by designer Michael Leyva.
What do you think, CGs? Was Kris' Instagram post super insensitive?
