Since joining Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Shuvee Etrata has proven she's a name to watch—and a star that's only getting brighter.
But her journey isn't just about personal fame. As the breadwinner in a family of nine siblings, Shuvee's ultimate goal is to provide a comfortable life for her loved ones, fulfilling their needs and dreams. With the success and recognition that she's garnered just this year, it seems like she's on the right track.
But despite being her family's provider, we believe she still deserves to treat herself from time to time. So, when we got the chance to catch up with Shuvee at the GMA Gala 2025, we asked about her most recent splurge.
Perhaps, one would expect that her most recent splurge, a.k.a. the things she spent a lot of money on, would be clothes, makeup, or maybe jewelry. But to our surprise, Shuvee kept it real by saying, "Lupa."
Although she didn't reveal the amount, she candidly told Cosmopolitan Philippines that she has already invested in a piece of land. Earlier reports highlighted that the Sparkle artist's goal is to provide her family with their own home. This was said to be one of her main reasons for joining PBB, which promised a ₱1 million prize for the Big Winner.
Her sincere, unfiltered response echoed our earlier conversation that night—about what people can truly expect from Shuvee. As she put it: "You're gonna expect her to be as authentic as possible, as real as she is—always."

The GMA Gala 2025 was a special one for Shuvee—and for the rest of the housemates, too. It marked an unforgettable first for all of them: their debut on the red carpet as rising stars, celebrating their newfound fame and partying with the very people they've formed real friendships with inside Bahay ni Kuya.
It was an especially memorable moment for Shuvee, too—she wore a custom-made gown designed just for her. In fact, she even teared up the first time she saw it, as revealed in an Instagram Reel.
Everything was new and quite overwhelming for Shuvee, she admitted. But she's taking it all in one day at a time, full of love and gratitude.
"Overwhelmed. Grabe naman 'yun!" she exclaimed to Cosmo after asking how she's been since her PBB exit. "I still can't comprehend the support that I'm getting from the people. But I'm just really grateful."
She furthered, teasing her fans, "I'm excited to see what's coming up next. I hope maghintay pa kayo, marami pa tayong ipapakita sa inyo." We'll be waiting, Shuvee! 🥰
