Shuvee Etrata Gets Candid On Sex And Relationships

Shuvee Etrata is well aware of what people say about her. In fact, she directly debunked the common stereotype that being a "probinsyana" makes her easy to get.

 

In Vice Ganda's newly uploaded vlog with Shuvee and fellow actress Ashley Ortega, the rising star proved just how unbothered and self-assured she is, opening up about love, trust, and why she's standing firm on her personal values.

ICYDK, Shuvee is proudly "NBSB" (no boyfriend since birth). Her reason? It's something many women can relate to: she fears ending up in the wrong relationship with the wrong person. But it doesn't mean she's closed off to love; she's simply waiting for when it truly feels right.

At one point in the vlog, Ashley spilled that two famous but unnamed actors had previously reached out to Shuvee. And while Shuvee admitted she felt kilig, she made it clear that she chose not to entertain any romantic feelings.

"Let's be real. Sometimes yun ang tingin ng lalake sa akin. Kaya nga yun yung gusto ko ipakita [not easy to get], dinede-value nila ako as a woman kasi feeling nila taga-probinsya kaya nilang loko-lokohin," she explained.

Shuvee opened up further to Vice and shared that some people tend to see her as someone whose virginity is easy to claim—something she firmly shuts down. She admitted that trust doesn't come easily for her, but when it comes to love, she's not closing her doors either.

"It's hard for me to trust... Pero at the same time, gusto ko rin naman magmahal," she opened. 

She also revealed that some men have been bold enough to straight-up invite her to their place. But when things reached that point, she says she didn't even entertain these overtures. She just shrugged it off and walked away like the queen she is.

"I don't support premarital sex. You know, [yung] puwede mag-enjoy, magtikiman, ganun-ganun, hanggang sa mahanap mo yung gusto mo. Para sa akin naman, I don’t believe in that. Kasi bakit ka manggagamit ng ibang tao? Ibibigay mo yun tapos you're gonna make it easy for them to get you, and then hindi mo naman talaga yun bina-value e nabigay mo na," she confessed.

According to Shuvee, it's not about restricting herself; rather, it's about making choices that align with what she truly believes in. For Shuvee, love isn't a race, and sex is something worth waiting for until the right person comes along.
