BIGBANG's Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin are going to be parents!
On September 27, South Korean news site Hankook Ilbo reported that the celebrity couple is expecting their first child.
Shortly after the news broke out, Hyo Rin's agency PLUM A&C confirmed the happy news.
"It is true that Min Hyo Rin is expecting. She is waiting joyfully. As she hopes to give birth quietly, we ask for your understanding in not being able to respond to further questions."
The soon-to-be parents first met on the filming set of Taeyang's "1AM" music video in 2013. News of the couple's engagement was reported in 2017 and they tied the knot the following year.
"I have pledged to spend the rest of my life with Min Hyo Rin, the one who has always stuck by me for the past four years. Through all the good times and the bad times, she has always believed in me and now I look forward to making a beautiful life together," Taeyang wrote in a 2017 Instagram post.
Taeyang is a member of the popular South Korean boy group BIGBANG. Some of the group's hit songs are "Fantastic Baby", "Bang Bang Bang", and "Loser." Meanwhile, Min Hyo Rin is a model, singer, and actress. She starred in films like Sunny and The Grand Heist.
