Taylor Swift just performed her biggest role to date—being the maid of honor at her best friend's wedding on Saturday.
Despite winning Album of the Year for 1989 at the Grammy Awards on Monday, Taylor swapped the glitz and glamour of the red carpet for childhood friend Britany Maack's big day.
Britany wed sweetheart Benjamin LaManna in the town of Reading, Pennsylvania, with the nuptials taking place in the beautifully decorated garden of a picturesque white property.
The bride and her maid of honor wore dresses by celebrity designer Reem Acra, with Britany in a hand-embroidered short-sleeved silk taffeta gown with matching cathedral veil. Taylor wore a blush pink gown with a beaded bodice and cap sleeves, while the other bridesmaids were in strappy beaded pink gowns.
"I've never been a maid of honor before. This is my first time, and it's really, really important to me because this is my best friend, who I've known since I was born. And she's marrying someone I've known since I was four," the singer told People.com last May. Taylor posted a sweet tribute to the happy couple on Instagram, captioning a photo of the wedding party: "I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten. Now they're married and I'm the happiest maid of honor ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!"
Taylor apparently went solo at the wedding, as her Scottish DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris could not attend.
