Teddy Locsin Jr. Told To "Stay Out Of Twitter" By His Daughters

As a Filipino expression goes, "Mahirap magpalaki ng magulang."

After all the Twitter ruckus that he got involved in, Teddy Locsin Jr.—veteran journalist and Philippine ambassador to the United Nations—has been reined in by his daughters.

Locsin revealed in a series of tweets posted on October 5 that his daughters have told him to "stay out of Twitter."

Later on, though, Locsin seemed to be back on Twitter with a dash of his classic gadfly antics. In a series of tweets posted on October 6, he apologized to the Jewish people—and made it clear he was saying sorry "only to them" and nobody else.

Curiously enough, on October 7, Locsin once again tweeted an apology—and this time it was for all of his Twitter followers.

For the record, as of 9 p.m. on Friday, October 7, Locsin already has 417,000 Twitter friends. So maybe his apology tweets won him new fans?
