After Keeping Things Low-Key, Tom Rodriguez Just Introduced His Family To The World

Actor Tom Rodriguez is opening up like never before—and just in time for Father’s Day.

Once known for keeping his personal life under wraps, Tom surprised fans by sharing a rare and intimate look at his family through an Instagram carousel post. The post features four photo frames, giving the public its first-ever glimpse into his private world: a woman and a young child, his son, Korben.

In his post, Tom reflected on fatherhood, growth, and the sacredness of his family.

"Some treasures in life are too sacred to put on full display. This isn’t about hiding…it’s about holding," the actor opened. 

Though he didn’t reveal the identities of his partner or son in the photos, Tom made it clear just how central they are to his life.

"What reminds me of who I am beyond the lights, the noise, and the roles I play," he expressed.

"This family of mine is my sanctuary… my peace. And in a world that often demands a performance, they are where I’m most real," he added. 

ICYDK, Tom has been living a quieter life away from showbiz for almost two years now. But in 2024, he made a revelation in an interview with entertainment journalist Nelson Canlas that he is now a father.

In that same interview, Tom also revealed the name of his son: Korben. He explained that it was an anagram for the word 'broken,' which holds deep spiritual meaning for him.

He explained that the name is a reference to King David in the Bible, whose brokenness was key to his covenant with God. 

Tom pointed out how his own personal journey—one filled with pain, healing, and redemption–inspired the name.

He also showed sketches he made of his son during the interview, revealing not just his skills as an artist but also the depth of his love as a father.
