What's The Most-Searched Song In 2015?

Love songs and dance music that gave us LSS.

Google Philippines has released its top-searched lists, and here's a Spotify playlist with the nine most-searched songs in 2015 (should be 10 but Tay Tay doesn't have her songs on Spotify). Huhu.

1. "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran

Fun fact: Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera had their first dance as husband and wife to this song!

2. "Flashlight" by Jessie J

Fun fact: A number of Pinay YouTubers sang this song with Jessie J! Well, sort of. It's all thanks to the SMULE app.

3. "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift

The music video had a stellar cast! And hello, it's Taylor Swift!

4. "Dessert" by Dawin

In ANY bar or club, there is no person who did not murder the dance floor by dancing/twerking to this song.

5. "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa

7. "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran

As if one Ed Sheeran song isn't enough to give us all the ~*fuzzy feels*~ and tears, we couldn't get enough of this sweet tune either.

8. "Cheerleader" by OMI

This feel-good track is so memorable and easy to sing that YouTuber and Internet sensation Mikey Bustos used the melody for one of his Pinoy parodies!

9. "God Gave Me You" by Bryan White

This song was released in 1999 and is the oldest song on this list. But it made it to the year's top 10 thanks to Alden Richards who revived the song and the AlDub craze that broke world record for having 41 million tweets for the hashtag #AlDubEBTamangPanahon.

10. "Locked Away" by Adam Levine and R. City

Every sawi person can relate to the lyrics, and everyone else can just ignore them for the dancey beats (to dance away the troubles, it seems). P.S. COSMOMEN cover hunk Daniel Matsunaga walked to this song at the 2015 Cosmo Carnival (Get the Cosmo Carnival Playlist here)!
