1 The hit supernatural drama series, The Vampire Diaries, used Carol Banawa’s 1997 song “Bakit Di Totohanin” in a recent episode. In the ep directed by Ian Somerhalder, actors Paul Wesley and Elizabeth Blackmoore were supposedly having drinks on a beach somewhere in the Philippines! 2 Mariel Rodriguez couldn’t help but gush over her hubby Robin Padilla for being one of the first respondents to help the drought-stricken farmers of Kidapawan City, North Cotabato. Mariel took to Instagram to share a snap of her husband, saying, “That's why we all love you!!! This morning my husband left for Davao to mourn with the families of the farmers in Kidapawan.” (ABS-CBN)

3 Ejay Falcon has spoken up about Ellen Adarna’s current relationship status with a foreigner. The Kapamilya hunk, who courted his Pasion De Amor co-star last year, only has nice words to say about Ellen, “Okay lang [ako]. Magkaibigan naman kami. Kung saan siya masaya, masaya din tayo. Ganon naman talaga eh. Ang importante kasi natapos ‘yung show na okay kami. Iyon lang naman talaga hiniling ko, na matapos 'yung show na okay kami para mabigyan man kami ng isa pang project, mas okay. Mas magagawa namin ng maayos.
