You Will Never Guess How Much Fashion Bloggers Are Making These Days

SEVEN-DIGIT FIGURES, YO.

Fashion blogging—once a pastime for style-savvy women who enjoy taking photos of their outfits and showcasing it to an audience—is now more lucrative than ever.

According to a report by WWD, top bloggers, including Kristina Bazan of Kayture, Aimee Song of Song of Style, and Chriselle Lim of The Chriselle Factor, make up to—gasp!—$1 million to $3 million a year (at least P47 million).

While affiliate marketing, event appearances, and advertising campaigns drive up salaries, those carefully curated flatlays and immaculate OOTDs on Instagram are definitely not to be belittled. Just one sponsored post on the popular social media platform can earn a blogger between $5,000 to $25,000 (about P237,000 -P1.1 million).

Aspiring bloggers can also take a look at Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad. With over five million followers on Instagram and an annual income of $2.5 million, Ferragni was one of the pioneers of fashion blogging. By expanding her brand to include a line of footwear, she made up to $7.5 million last year in shoe sales ALONE.
