Kourtney Kardashian Is Back On The Keto Diet; Here's Her Meal Plan

If you're a loyal viewer of the best reality show on TV (Keeping Up With The Kardashians, of course), then you know that in the last few years, eldest sister Kourt has been transforming her kitchen into the healthiest place on Earth. In one episode, she literally picked up a cupcake, sniffed the frosting, and then placed it back in the box, which is the kind of willpower you build when you're a pillar of health, I'm assuming.

Now, Kourtney has taken it up a notch by going on the keto diet...again. She tried the diet two years ago and loved the results. On her platform, Poosh, she shared, "My doctor actually put me on the keto diet a couple of years ago for a metal detox. He tested my muscles and found that I had high levels of mercury and lead in my system." Apparently, when it comes to curbing her sugar cravings, keto is her go-to method.

She also gave her fans a glimpse of what her meals are like on the diet:

  • Breakfast: An avocado smoothie made with Stevia, MCT oil, bone broth powder, and blue-green algae.
  • Lunch: A protein-based chef salad with turkey, mixed greens, and egg whites.
  • Dinner: Chicken or salmon with cauliflower or broccoli rice
  • Snacks: Green tea, bone broth, or nuts like walnuts and pecans.

The goal is to "eat minimal carbs and no grains, beans, or legumes, focusing on fresh vegetables and lean proteins." 

As seen on the show, Kourtney loves to break a sweat with her family and friends.
