Add to that the fact that Spotify is taking it a step further by letting subscribers join virtual listening parties with the artists themselves—LIVE!
Enter K-Pop ON! Hub. As Spotify calls it, the curated section brings fans closer than ever to the pulse of the genre. In an exclusive media brunch last April 10, 2025, the Spotify team highlighted how the Hub is more than just a playlist of handpicked hits—rather, it's all about exclusive content, fan features, and even experiences. So, if you have a premium account on Spotify, then here's something you can do to maximize your Spotify experience. (Girl, this one's worth it!)
What is Spotify's K-Pop ON! Hub and how to join its virtual listening parties?
Okay, first things first: you have to download the Spotify app so you can dive into the K-Pop ON! Hub—which might probably be added to your list of favorite internet spaces. Just search for K-Pop ON! Hub on Spotify's Genre section. There you'll easily see and access the upcoming live events waiting for you!
Virtual listening parties with your K-pop idols
The Hub offers live listening parties where your fave idols join in real-time and actually host the listening parties, fr. And, get this: there's a feature where you can "request to speak" with the artist. So cool! Aside from that, you can now stream official music videos of your artists right on Spotify. Take note: This is independent from streaming on other apps, so who knows, there might be a "Top Spotify MVs" ranking soon *cue the double eyes emoji here, pls*
Personalized achievement cards
Speaking of rankings, the Hub will also introduce personalized digital collectibles called "achievement cards." We all love Spotify's Wrapped cards every year, right? With K-Pop ON!, we're getting especially curated achievement cards based on our love for K-pop. *heart emoji* It's such a solid way to flex your fan life!
Exclusive (and interactive) artist interviews
Wait, there's more: the new feature also gives you access to exclusive interviews with idols through the Hub. In many cases, you can even submit questions for your idol and get a chance for them to answer what you're curious about. More importantly, the Hub is also a vibrant community where you can gush, hype, and respectfully interact not just with K-pop faves but of course, with fellow K-pop stans who get it just as much as you do.
Who will be attending the virtual listening parties on Spotify's K-Pop ON! Hub?
TBH, the list of idols attending is long. The hub has just launched, so there's so much to look forward to. Just recently, the talented 4th Gen boy group, ENHYPEN, held two (!) listening parties already—and yes, ENGENES were totally hyped for it!
As of writing, here is the artists' schedule for Spotify's K-Pop ON! Hub:
- TWS - April 27, Sunday, 12:30 p.m.
- NCT's Mark - April 28, Monday, at 4:30 p.m.
- EXO's Kai - April 29, Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m.
We signed up for Mark's listening party on Monday (and we can't wait to join the party, soon!) You just have to make sure that you sign up in case you see the "Get on the list" button on your app—and of course, if you're interested in joining the listening party. In some cases, Spotify will just notify you when it's time.
With Mark's April 28 listening party, Spotify even sent a confirmation email after we hit "Get on the list." It's like you've purchased a (free) ticket to a concert, LOL.
