We adore K-pop idols for their visuals, energy, talent, and of course, their personalities. Moreso, when they become a source of inspiration for us fans—just like TWICE's Tzuyu.
We know that Tzuyu has always been a great vocalist and dancer. She's been an idol together with the other TWICE members for almost a decade now. And as we all know, there was never a dull moment in TWICE's career. They've been busy with back-to-back comebacks every year, world tours, variety show guestings, and even solo debuts of their members.
Despite their busy nine-year run, Tzuyu managed to secure a master's degree in applied psychology! Yes, your girl, Tzuyu, accomplished a postgraduate degree while being a full-time idol. She confirmed it through an online fan signing event this year.

TWICE's Tzuyu studied applied psychology
A fan uploaded and also translated Tzuyu's revelation about her master's degree—which the fan asked about. "So Tzuyu did get her psychology degree from UEMC, and she said it’s been around a year that she’s been studying online. I need to look up to her," a fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The Singaporean news channel, CNA Lifestyle reported Tzuyu's confirmation, also stating that a flyer earlier allegedly circulated indicating Tzuyu's educational achievements. One of which was that Tzuyu took her master's degree in applied psychology at Miguel de Cervantes European University in Spain. However, CNA Lifestyle also noted that the Internet reportedly doubted the details of the flyers given the idol's busy schedule.
As translated in CNA Lifestyle's report, Tzuyu disclosed during her video call with the fan, "Yes. Whenever I was free, I would go online to study." It was also stated that she was in grad school for over a year. Of course, fans praised Tzuyu for literally embodying the term, "beauty and brains."
TWICE recently released their newest EP, "Strategy," last December 6, 2024.
