Dyahe to ask questions during a job interview? Don't be. HR experts actually advise job applicants to think of questions for the interviewer, too. It’s one of the best ways to know the company you're applying for. It also gives the company a good gauge of whether you're really interested in the position. Here are a couple of Qs that are okay to ask:
1. "Could you describe to me your ideal candidate for this post?"
This will help you gauge if you're perfect for the position or not.
2. "What do you enjoy most about working in the company?"
The question allows you and the interviewer to connect on a more personal level. Plus, you can find out if employees actually like working for the company. If the interviewer finds it difficult to answer this question, it might be a red flag.
3. "Do you have any reservations about my qualifications?"
It's a gutsy question, but it shows how confident you are, without sounding annoying. The interviewer’s answer should also provide you instant feedback, something you could benefit from should you decide to push through with applying for the job.
4. "What is expected of me in the next six months?"
Find out what you are expected to accomplish in the immediate future. That way, you'll be able to gauge whether your pace and the way you work will help the company.
