A little chitchat with your officemate can help relieve stress and strengthen your relationships, but a simple five-minute stopover at her work area can easily turn into a 10-minute break. Before you know it, you’ve used up most of your morning. Try limiting your time at each station, so you can still be productive at work.
Fiddling with your phone
Whether you're texting, browsing, or playing your favorite game, tinkering with your phone eats up most of your time–and you may not even notice it. If you really need to use your phone (for things not related to work), make sure you’ve finished your important tasks first. Have a to-do list so you could keep up with the things you need to accomplish or impelement a no-phone policy for a few hours at a time.
