I Lived My Best Life At The Cosmo Summer Party 2026 In La Union—Here's What Went Down

As a travel girlie, I felt relaxed during the ride, just taking in the scenery along the expressway. But as soon as we reached Rosario, La Union, I could already feel the sea breeze and that distinct vibe only Elyu can give.

We arrived safely and got dropped off at our hotel, which was just a seven-minute drive from El Fuego, our party venue. The Cosmo team got paired up as roomies and Cheska and I (a.k.a. the two redheads!) shared a cozy cabin-type room, complete with a free breakfast buffet during our stay.

We had a bit of time to rest and freshen up before catching up with the rest of the team, who were already having a great lunch and afternoon yap session at Curo. It's the resto located inside the v #aesthtic Curbside Villa that anyone in LU just shouldn't miss—and Cosmo clearly knows this.

It was Cosmo's second time back at Curo, which says a lot about how much we loved both the ambiance and the food. Honestly, good food really brings out good energy. I mean, these photos speak for themselves! 👀

Aside from the beach, Elyu is known for its charming cafés, and Sunndown is definitely one of them. It was my first time there, and I instantly clicked with the space. Inside, every corner felt like it deserved a spot on my IG Story—from the window seats to the concave mirrors and full-body mirror set-up.

As a matcha girlie, I couldn't pass up their signature Isla Matcha, which blends the natural bitterness of matcha with coconut milk that smooths it out perfectly. It was such a refreshing drink for the afternoon heat! 😎

Even while working on-the-go (Cosmo never stops writing, of course!), we loved being productive while sipping our drinks and serving our summer OOTDs.

Just when I thought that was it, the Cosmo Team went to hang out more after dinner. And that night was honestly one of the highlights for me, as (1) I got to be closer with them, (2) broke the ice for the newbie, (3) started the party mode for tomorrow, and (4) we partied completely without work on our mind! We went bar and club hopping—no wonder we were reminded to bring extra party clothes JIC.

We tried out fun group picture trends, had non-stop yapping sesh, and danced our hearts out when our favorite songs hit the club's speakers!

The first day already passed the vibe check, and we headed to bed with smiles on our faces—and full stomachs.

Even though we still had so much energy to hang out, we knew we had to save it for the big day ahead. So we gave ourselves a proper beauty rest.

After setting our alarms and prepping our main party outfits at the hotel, we went to sleep feeling excited and ready to show up for the main event. We honestly couldn't wait! 🤩

Of course, Cosmo Summer Party isn't just about fun—at its core, it's about self-care and allowing ourselves to try new experiences that help us discover our own courage. That's how you become a fun, fearless, and forward Cosmo Girl. Period!

Cosmo prepared early morning activities, and the group split into two: the yoga girls, who wanted a calm stretch session, and the surf girlies, who were ready to take on the Elyu waves despite the heat.

Our Executive Editor Ida Aldana, Social Media Lead Aina Lizarondo, and Alyana, along with the Cosmo Vibe Tribe, joined a peaceful yoga session with a panoramic view of the ocean. It was the kind of slow morning that lets you reset—made even better with skin that felt smooth, fresh, and clean, thanks to Dove!

At the same time, Ches and I—as the adventurous fire signs (Taurus and Sagittarius, btw!)—joined the surf group. We had a quick dip in the warm water, rode the waves, and wrapped up our session with a brunch of mushroom sourdough and a smoothie. After being out in the sun and saltwater, Sunsilk came through for our hair, helping us bounce back from that beach-day dryness.

Before heading to the main program, there was one more activity Cosmo Girls love—a mixology class hosted by Medlay Bar.

The drinks were colorful and playful, with fruity and citrus flavors balanced by just the right amount of alcohol. It was easy to enjoy, fun to make, and honestly the perfect pre-party moment. Meanwhile, others took this time to finish glamming up or head to El Fuego early to make sure everything was set.

Right on time, the venue transformed into a sparkling beach dream. The big Cosmo Summer Party arc welcomed guests at the registration area, where everyone received their wristbands and CSP passports.

The passport was the key to all the booth activities—and once completed, you could take home a Cosmo beach bag filled with exciting goodies!

Before anything else, guests stopped by the signature photowall to make their pose. Of course, the Cosmo Team made sure to capture our group shots.

And of course, our Cosmo Crushes Alvaro, Jordan, Wayne, and Zach added that extra kilig factor. Completing a fun dare with them—like a flirty selfie or staring game—was part of the experience!

Just before sunset, host Rain Matienzo, who was our Women of Influence 2023 awardee, brought the energy and got the crowd going. She introduced Ida as our Executive Editor, who then shared a heartfelt reminder about taking a break and taking self-care seriously.

The games and crowd interactions followed, building up to the very highlight of the night—Adie's performance.

As the sun slowly set, everyone swayed along to his music. His voice blended perfectly with the sound of the waves, creating a moment that felt both calm and unforgettable.

And if serenading us wasn't enough, he even gave roses to lucky girls while singing his final song, "Paraluman."

Back at El Fuego, the venue transformed into a full-on beach club. There was a DJ set on stage, tables filled with drinks, and a packed dancefloor. Safe to say, the crowd completely delivered!

And who says independent corpo girlies can't party? If anything, they're the most fun to be with! DJ Ixia knew exactly what to play, and it didn't take long before the crowd gave in. People in their best party outfits swayed, sang at the top of their lungs, and threw their arms into the air.

DJ Ziggy took over the set, and his beats pumped up the speakers effortlessly. He kept the energy alive and drew everyone to the center of the dancefloor, where dancing with strangers felt completely natural.

The Cosmo Crushes joined in too, proving they weren't just there to serve looks but to fully pass the vibe check until midnight.

TBH, the exact time the party ended was a blur—somewhere in the early hours of April 26. We headed home exhausted, but in that good way that comes after a full day of fun, a touch of hangover, and a whole lot of memories to bring back to Manila.

And maybe that's just what adulting is—it's not about losing your spark or pretending fun doesn't matter anymore. It's more like picking the moments that remind you you're still allowed to vibe and enjoy yourself! ❤️
