Here's a little something to brighten up your day. While dog and cat cafes have become increasingly popular over the years, a certain corgi cafe in Thailand has been putting smiles on people's faces as of late. Located in Bangkok, Corgi in the Garden is a cafe that lets its customers play with 14 extremely adorable corgis. Meet their "staff" members:
Cafe owner Tanchanok Kanawaong told Bored Panda, "I love big dogs and used to have up to 10 Siberian Huskies and Golden Retrievers at the same time. When they grew old and passed away, I looked for dogs with similar characteristics, only smaller in size...and decided to get a baby boy Corgi."
Eventually, it went from one to five Corgis. And as some dogs do, they had babies, which brought the total up to 12!
Though opening a cafe wasn't always the plan, all the effort has been worth it because people perk up the minute they see all the Corgis! Every morning, the cuties run around the yard (exercise is still important, after all) and are groomed before the day officially begins.
Don't worry, the dogs' health are of top priority. The cafe accepts customers six days a week; when they're open, one-hour sessions costing $11 (almost P600) per person lets 50 customers play with the Corgis. There's a one-hour gap between each session to allow the dogs to nap. We don't want these puppers getting exhausted.
