Michelin-Starred Restaurants In The Philippines For Date Night
Helm

Location: 3F The Shops at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati
Discovering new things to try when you've been together for so long can be a challenge, but this restaurant will take you both on a whole new adventure. Now recognized as the Philippines’ first and only two-Michelin-star restaurant, Helm offers an intimate setting—seating only 24 guests at a time—where Chef Josh Boutwood showcases his culinary experiments through a tasting menu (starts at P5,800/head) inspired by his half-British, half-Filipino roots.
The menu changes regularly—the latest one was inspired by the Harry Potter universe—so every visit promises something new to experience and remember together.
Toyo Eatery

Toyo Eatery's laid-back yet intimate space is the perfect venue for that double date—especially when you’re introducing your partner to the other couple in your barkada. The tasting menu (starts at P6,500/head) is as exploratory as figuring out if your S.O. fits seamlessly into your social circle.
Helmed by Chef Jordy Navarra, the restaurant serves locally inspired dishes and drinks prepared in an open kitchen that connects directly to the dining area—so every plate arrives fresh and piping hot. Fun fact: Toyo Eatery was featured in the Manila episode of Netflix’s Somebody Feed Phil!
Celera

Location: 3rd Floor, 238 Pablo Ocampo Sr. Ext, Comuna, Makati
First dates can be made or broken by the kind of conversation you’ll have—and booking a table at Celera gives you the perfect head start. This fine dining restaurant features an Asian-inspired menu prepared in an open kitchen, where Chef Nicco Santos, Chef Quenee Vilar, and their talented team move with the precision of a finely tuned machine.
Each dish on the tasting menu (starts at P5,460/head) is crafted with meticulous care, showcasing the chefs' two decades of culinary experience. Guests are even encouraged to roam around, watch the team at work, and chat with the chefs for a truly immersive dining experience. Over each sumptuous bite, you and your date can bond over the food—and maybe discover you have more in common than you thought.
Linamnam

Location: 31 Greenvale 2, Marcelo Green Village, Parañaque
Feel like it's finally time to DTR? You can bring the message home at Linamnam, a cozy, 10-seater restaurant run by Chef Don Baldosano—who also received the Young Chef Award at the inaugural Michelin Philippines ceremony.Housed in what used to be his childhood home, Linamnam is now an elegant dining space adorned with woven wall coverings, wooden floors, and Tiffany-style lamps that set the mood just right.
Here, Chef Don serves an 11-course Filipino tasting menu (starts at P5,000/head) inspired by regional flavors and crafted entirely from local produce. With a table all to yourselves, the intimate setting leaves just the right amount of space—for great food, deep conversations, and maybe even a big relationship milestone.
Gallery By Chele

Location: 5F, Clipp Center, 11th Avenue corner 39th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
Have a free evening after work and want to squeeze in a date night? Conveniently located in the heart of BGC, Gallery By Chele has long been a favorite in Manila’s dining scene—and for good reason. Most impressively, it's stayed true to its mission of sourcing most of its ingredients locally, reducing food waste, and educating diners on the Philippines' rich culinary heritage and culture. It's no wonder it also received the MICHELIN Green Star, which is awarded to restaurants that consistently (and intentionally!) follow eco-friendly practices.
The space itself feels tailor-made for romantic date nights—romantic yet relaxed, with an ambiance perfect for intimate conversations and memorable bites. Guests can choose from three tasting menus: a lunch set, a six-course (starts at P5,200), or a 10-course menu (starts at P6,500), with a vegetarian option (starts at P4,000) available upon advance request.
Hapag

Location: 7th Floor, The Balmori Suites, Hidalgo Dr, Rockwell Center, Makati City
Hapag's signature sophisticated homeliness—first established in their Katipunan branch and now elevated in their new Makati space—sets the perfect tone for a date with someone who already feels like home. The restaurant puts a modern spin on long-held Filipino culinary traditions, serving flavors that are both familiar and refreshed—proof that food really does taste best when shared.
Their current tasting menu (starts at P7,500/head) spotlights dishes from Western Mindanao, and trust us—it's worth lining up for.
Asador Alfonso

Location: Lot-3308, Barangay Road, Alfonso, Cavite
If you're heading for a weekend staycation in Tagaytay with the BF and want to get a taste of authentic Spanish cuisine, Asador Alfonso will make it worth the drive. Led by chefs Chele Gonzales (also the man behind Gallery by Chele, another Michelin-starred spot) and Rodrigo Andres Osorio, the restaurant offers a tasting menu (starts at P5,900/head) featuring ingredients sourced straight from Spain and prepared using traditional, ancestral-style Spanish cooking techniques.
The space itself takes inspiration from the Taal Volcano vista, with warm tones and textures that echo its landscape. At the center of it all is a brick roasting oven—literally the "fire" that fuels the restaurant's heart and soul.
Inatô

Inatô's chef's table experience is one that celebrates new beginnings—both in life and in love. Helmed by Chef Jepe Cruz (formerly the sous chef of Toyo Eatery), the team at Inatô—meaning "our way" in Binisaya—lovingly and theatrically prepares a seasonal tasting menu (starts at P4,000/head) rooted in Filipino cooking techniques and flavors.
The intimate setup seats just eight guests at the counter, with a private dining room for six, making it the ideal spot to mark fresh starts, meaningful milestones, or simply the next chapter in your story together.
Kasa Palma

Location: 6042 Palma Street, Poblacion, Makati
If you're looking for a spot to celebrate your or your partner's birthday, then look no further than Kasa Palma. Hidden in the heart of Poblacion, this lush dining destination by Chef Aaron Isip promises an unforgettable night filled with bold flavors and refined storytelling.
Each dish in the tasting menu (starts at P5,500/head) is crafted in his "jungle kitchen," where creativity meets heart. Start with cocktails in the outdoor lounge as the city glows beneath the sunset, then settle in for a dinner that feels like both a gift and a love letter—wrapped in flavor, warmth, and intention.
