The sun has finally arrived and as a result, we're all feeling so hot. This isn't a complaint but I'm just pointing out that when it gets a bit too hot, we end up traipsing around leaving a trail of sweat.
But dripping with sweat isn't the only frustrating side effect of a heat wave. For any woman who doesn't possess a thigh gap (so, lots of us) the usual friction between her upper legs only goes up a gear this time of year, with the film of sweat that covers her skin causing her thighs to stick together, leaving a big red rash in its wake. Chafing, you devil.
But in this progressive 21st century age we're lucky enough to live through, we shouldn't be forced to settle for such discomfort, which is why we thought we should share this pearl of wisdom courtesy on how to prevent the chafing woes so many people suffer this time of year.
While vaseline and talcum powder are old classics to prevent the rub, this one's new: Use roll-on deodorant:
The benefit of using roll-on deodorant over lotion is that it lasts so much longer, creating a slick layer covering your thighs and allowing them to slip past each other instead of rubbing like sandpaper. Plus, it's soothing AF down there, which is very welcome in these sweaty times.
