The Yamaha Mio Fazzio has been a hit since its launch last year. The fashionable styling, the infinite customizability, and the incredible build quality made it so desirable that it was literally flying off the showroom doors. But with supplies finally normalizing, Yamaha Motor Philippines has given buyers more choices, launching new colorways for the Mio Fazzio, along with some impressive style and customization options, at the “Start YOUniqueness” event in Davao City last October 20 to 22.

In partnership with DBTK (Don’t Blame The Kids), Coziest Company, and Nobody Clothing, Yamaha’s event was a splash of color and style, featuring Fazzios customized by the fashion partners. The public were invited to check out the interactive displays and to try out the new AT motorcycles, to see which one fits their style. And for those who wanted a little more action, Yamaha Motor Philippines had a test track set up at the SM Lanang parking lot—one of the biggest we’ve ever seen.

Here, riders of all skill levels could take the Mio Fazzio for a spin, as well as a number of other Yamaha products. On-site training was provided, to emphasize safety and proper riding techniques. The course included straight sections to test the power of the bikes, maneuverability exercises ranging from gentle banking to sharp u-turns, bumps to showcase the Mio Fazzio’s excellent ride, and a slalom to show off its stability. Those not brave enough to try all of that on their own had the option of back-riding with an instructor to get a feel of the Mio Fazzio’s performance.

Back at the indoor booth, the customized bikes drew a crowd. Coziest Company kept things chill and vibing with their cloud-covered Pastel Blue bike, equipped with a stylish front rack, windshield, and custom mirrors for utility. A matching Pastel Blue luggage kit does double duty as a backrest and top box for anything you might need to keep dry. A classy understated look for a classy bike.

DBTK went full-on street with a full body wrap on their Ivory White bike, with matching front and rear white luggage, and chromed mirrors to pair with the hardware on their windshield. This resulted in a successful merging of modern styling with the Mio Fazzio’s retro lines.

Nobody Clothing had a dopamine overload with their Matte Orange bike, with a cool floral wrap and yellow accents all over: Wheels, mirrors, racks—even the windshield was yellow! It was truly a retro-psychedelic trip!

Bikes weren’t the only ones dressed up, though.  The event was basically a lookbook that came to life. Yamaha kicked off the event on Friday night with an outdoor fashion show-slash-concert, featuring styles from all three fashion partners, for an eclectic mix that demonstrated the versatility of the Mio Fazzio’s looks. The designers were on hand to talk about their styles, and also praise the bike’s individuality and unique looks, as well as its laid-back appeal. They particularly liked how the new Ivory White colorway was easy to match with any OOTD.

Guests were also encouraged to express their inner fashion designer, and show up dressed for the occasion. The best dressed in the audience even got some cool merch and gifts!

To wrap up a wildly successful night, the media, assorted influencers and Mio club members were treated to a special concert featuring DJ Nix Damn P, Al James, and Juan Karlos. Yes, special, not private, because despite the limited seating, it seemed like all of Davao turned up at SM for the show, lining the mall balconies and packing the parking lot out into the darkness. Al James and JK even got up close and personal to the crowd, which screamed and sang along to their hits. It was definitely the most lit event to hit the city this month.

And if you missed out on all of that, you can catch the new Mio Fazzio at any Yamaha dealership nationwide! Go to the Yamaha Motor Philippines' Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and website for more information on new products and upcoming events!
