Tucked away at the second floor of a building in Fort Bonifacio is a hot new hangout that the it-crowd has been buzzing about. Against a backdrop of furniture and decor that channel Old World charm, Relik Tapas Bar and Lounge will coax the busy Cosmo chick into a chill state with tantalizing cocktails and tummy-teasing concoctions. It's a gimik place so cozy, you might forget to leave until the sun comes up! 

The variety of tapas on the menu draws inspiration from Mediterranean Spain, with a number of Spanish meats available to the discerning foodie. To start, order the Tasting Board (P490) which is filled with slices of 15-month-old Jamon Serrano, Chorizo Pamplona, Stuffed "Serpis" Spanish olives, and Manchego cheese--a wide selection that is good enough to share with the whole barkada. Another starter we recommend is the Baked Australian Brie (p530), a generous portion of creamy Yarra Valley Brie wrapped in succulent Jamon Serrano and served with glazed honey.

Those of you who want a classic inuman appetizer should try the Chorizig (P295), Relik's take on sisig sprinkled with fried chorizo bits. Relik also offers a delicious Roasted Bone-Marrow (P290) dish that's to-die-for! It is topped with gremolata--an herb combination of parsley, lemon zest or skin, and garlic soaked in healthy olive oil--and served with caramelized onions and toasted bread. If you're a sucker for anything cheesy, we recommend the Deep-fried Manchego Cheese (P300), a bowl of melted cheese cubes in panko bread crumbs with honey and cayenne pepper.

Sampling an array of mouth-watering tapas is a great way to start your meal, but at Relik, it only gets better! The resto-bar makes a mean dish called Benny's Certified Angus Rib Eye (P1,150) which is a great pick as main course. This 300-gram slab of meat served with burnt butter sauce is ideal for guy friends with heavy appetites. The Mother Ann's Braised Ox-tail (P450) is another tempting option with its tender, slow-braised meat served with pomme puree and buttered carrots. Another must-try is Relik's Mixed Paella (P820), which is fast becoming a favorite, thanks to the hefty portion which can serve up to 10 people! You won't be able to resist digging into the huge prawns, chorizo, and bell peppers that fill this aromatic dish.

Cap off your meal with one of Relik's scrumptious dessert selections. The Vanilla and Amaretto Panacotta (P160) is a creamy and satisfying option. Then order one of the special cocktails (P230) from their well-stocked bar, and raise a toast to an awesome night out!
