There's a lot to be said about Kathryn Bernardo. She's a great actress, a beautiful celebrity, and also a sweet friend to her peers. If anything, Kathryn is definitely someone we look up to—and her recent interview with Boy Abunda is clear proof.
Kathryn sat down with the TV host in a new episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda to initially promote her upcoming film, Hello, Love Again. But of course, it became more than that. In the 30-minute episode, Kathryn reminisced almost everything about her past relationships, affirmed how wonderful her present career is at the moment, and expressed her hopes for the future.

Everything Kathryn Bernardo Taught Us About Hello's, Love, And Goodbyes
1. "I don't regret anything."
It was a good 11 years for Kathryn. When asked what she would tell her younger self at the moment, there was nothing she could say. After all, she doesn't regret anything she did in her past relationship. "You know, nothing. I don't regret anything. So ayoko siyang pangunahan. I want you [young self] to experience all the happiness, all the pain," she declared.
Tito Boy asked, "What 'was' is okay with you?" Kathryn confidently replied, "Yes... alam ko maraming mag-question 'nun but it was 11 beautiful years." For Kathryn, she wouldn't be who she is right now without her past relationship—regardless of how it ended.
"Kung anong nakikita niyo ngayon, ang malaking part ng 11 years na 'yon, so kung nandyan si Little Kath, 'Ayaw kitang pangunahan, I want you to experience all these emotions, all these things kasi it's gonna be a big part of your growth," the 28-year-old actress noted.
Kathryn started her career as a child star, frequenting the prominent kids' gag show during the early 2000s, Goin' Bulilit. As she entered her teen years, she explored the world of love teams. She was roughly 18 years old when she engaged in a serious relationship with her former love team partner.
2. "Don't use your pain as a reason to hurt others."
Amid everything that Kathryn went through, one thing that she would want to impart to her future kids, or perhaps to just anyone in general, she says, "Don't use your pain as a reason to hurt others."
She continued conveying, "I think that's what I learned personally. Not because you're in pain, [or] you're hurting, it doesn't mean na you have to do the same. You can never go wrong with kindness." Wise words, indeed.
3. "Love can be found anywhere."
There's so much wisdom in Kath's words, tbh. You can feel how much growth she had in the past couple of years, experiencing all the emotions she has to experience in life. But when asked about her definition of love, the 28-year-old actress hesitated before answering.
"I'm not sure if I'm the right person to answer, because I've only had one relationship and that lasted for 11 years," she told Tito Boy. Nonetheless, Kath illustrated, "I'm a work in progress but I still don't know the real definition of love but I think love can be found anywhere. It can be from your family, from your friends, from your boyfriend, or from your girlfriend. And now I feel like I'm so surrounded with so much love na 'yun 'yung pinapa-feel sa akin ng mga tao."
She continued, "'Dun ko na-realize, after everything na after what you went through, kung ano man 'yun, any challenges, isu-surround ka talaga with so much good energy and so much love and I'm just so grateful for that."
4."I'm pretty strong."
Sometimes in life, it takes a huge moment for us to realize our full potential, our strengths, and our capacities. For Kathryn, the past year has been a clear manifestation of how well she can handle anything in her life right now.
"I guess it's safe to say, I'm pretty strong. I didn't expect myself, I think all the people that I will handle it [the breakup] that way—me too. I didn't expect it. It's just that, that moment in my life tested my faith so much and feeling ko sobra po akong na-guide doon," she confessed.
5. Celebrities are humans, too.
Needless to say, Kath is one of the top stars in the Philippine entertainment industry. Anything she does stirs the public and garners intense attention from everyone. And although it is her job to be an actress and to be a celebrity, she divulges how everything can get really overwhelming for her.
Coming from a controversial and viral breakup, Kath understands how most of her life right now is subject to everyone's reactions and opinions. "'Pag normal person ka, pwede kang matuto on your own without the whole world watching you." Shyly laughing, Kathryn added, "But now, with this job, it's like kapag magkamali ka, kapag masaktan ka, kapag meron kang you know mga decisions in life, lahat ng tao involved 'dun sa buhay mo."
And it shouldn't be the case all the time. At the end of the day, Kathryn longs to have that normal life once in a while—just her experiencing love, and pain, and just being selfish about these emotions.

6. She's ready to love again.
