Leila Alcasid And Curtismith Just Got Married—And She Had Two Dads Walk Her Down The Aisle

It was Ogie who first shared the happy news with the world. (Def a sign of pure happiness from the dad!) The singer-songwriter has been uploading photos from Leila and Mito's intimate wedding, which was reportedly held in Australia.

Ogie posted a photo of the lovely couple sitting together in what seemed to be their reception table and captioned it with a short but heartfelt greeting. "Pag-ibig. Pagmamahalang walang patid. Kami ay nagbubunyi. We love you @curtismito and @leilalcasid. The Lord bless you both!" Ogie said.

Ogie also shared a photo from their family dinner the night before the big day. Included in the photos were Regine Velasquez, Leila's mother Michelle van Eimeren, her stepdad Mark Morrow, and her siblings Sarah and Nate.

As everyone greeted the couple for their relationship milestone, Ogie happily shared one of the sweetest things that Leila did for her wedding. Ogie posted how he and Leila's stepdad, Mark, walked the bride down the aisle. Ogie calls it "Fatherhood," we call it a v intimate and thoughtful detail!

There was a bit of disapproval from Ogie's side. "I told her, ‘I didn’t like what you did," Ogie shared in an interview. "Because it’s something that I wish you talked to me about before. But that’s already done. Nandiyan na ‘yan."

Despite his early disapproval, Ogie and Leila's relationship as father and daughter didn't fall apart. There's no argument that can be settled with communication, anyway.  "'So you want to be an adult? Then, face life like an adult,’" Ogie recalls telling Leila. "And I’m very proud that she doesn’t even ask for money from me at all."

In a separate interview, Leila praised her dad for respecting her decision. More imporantly, she clarified to the public that they're really on good terms. "He respects (my) decision, my autonomy as a person, as an adult,"  Leila said.
