Nadine Lustre Says She's Completely Sure About Christophe Bariou—And Describes Her Dream Wedding

Published on Jan 13, 2026
Nadine Lustre is clearly in a place where she feels grounded, happy, and secure—and it shows.
In a recent appearance on Vice Ganda's YouTube vlog, filmed during a trip to Disneyland, the actress opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Christophe Bariou. And while Nadine's never been one to rush love, it's clear that what she has now feels different—in the best way.
Fittingly, at the "happiest place on earth," Vice asked Nadine if she feels like she's finally found her "Prince Charming." Nadine answered with a smile, "Feeling ko naman. Sana." She admitted just how sure she feels about Christophe, even joking that if the relationship were to end, she's officially done with dating altogether. "Sabi ko nga sa kanya, 'Kapag nag-break pa tayo, hindi na ako magjo-jowa,'" she shared.
Nadine Lustre On Feeling Secure With Christophe Bariou
For Nadine, relationships are not about finding someone perfect—it's about finding someone who feels right. She explained that while Christophe isn't without flaws, he's exactly what she needs. "Feeling ko kasi sobrang okay na siya para sa akin… for some reason, alam mo lang na ito na iyon," she said, adding that it's rare to find someone like him. That sense of certainty, she noted, is what sets this relationship apart from her past ones.
That security has also shifted how Nadine shows up as a partner. When Vice asked if she's the "praning" type of girlfriend, Nadine admitted she used to be, but not anymore. "Before, pero ngayon sobrang iba. Hindi ko alam pero nafi-feel ko lang na secure ako sa kanya," she shared. While she still has moments of anxiety, she clarified that these no longer come from doubts about the relationship itself, a sign of emotional growth she seems to be very aware of.
When the topic turned to marriage, Nadine was just as honest. She shared that while she's open to the idea of settling down with Christophe someday, she believes that timing—and personal readiness—matters more than any checklist. "Parang ibang responsibility [yung pagiging wife]. Pero kung mangyayari, eh 'di go," she said. For now, she's content with where they are now.
Interestingly, Nadine's idea of a "dream wedding" is refreshingly low-key. No grand church ceremony, no Disney princess moment. Instead, she envisions something intimate and intentional. "Gusto ko lang by the lake, by the ocean, with close friends. Tapos after noon, party lang kayo," she shared. It's simple, meaningful, and very on-brand.
Nadine describes her relationship with Christophe as one rooted in balance and mutual growth. Currently, they're both focused on working on themselves while also building together—personally and professionally.
