Beach trips are the new ~regulars~ in Elisse Joson's colorful life (and Instagram feed) and it definitely looks good on her! Other than her glowing skin and sunny disposition, we can't help but admire several of her summer-ready OOTDs, too, seeing as to how she can seamlessly transition her ~*fashion personality*~ from the streets to the beach.
Her style is often feminine, at times experimental, and always with a *cute* charm that's uniquely Elisse. Below, a few favorites we’re definitely taking inspo from:
Little White Bikini
You can never go wrong with the universally-flattering white bikini. It's a look that she makes her own by choosing a style in a high-waist cut and with multi-tiered ruffles.
The way to fully enjoy the sun, sand, and sea is to wear what you’ll be comfortable moving around in! (Read: Bikinis that aren’t just made to look good for the ‘gram). Here, Elisse looks free to roam in a sporty-looking navy blue bikini top and wears loose, gartered pants as a cover-up.
Yellow eyelet swimsuit
With her down-to-earth attitude and sweet personality, Elisse is the girl-next-door we all want to be friends with. Her fashion choices are always spot-on, but never intimidating. Case in point: her (not so) itsy-bitsy, yellow polka dot one-piece that suits her sweet, feminine style and petite body type
Make a mental note to hoard loose-fitting pants (preferably in linen or other breathable fabric) to wear over your swimsuit in your next beach trip. As demonstrated by Elisse, it’s all you need to transition to your next beach-ready OOTD.
Swag meets sweet. In true Elisse fashion, she wears a girly bikini set (complete with pom-poms, pin-up girl gingham, and side ribbon ties!) with—not a wide-brimmed straw hat—but a cool girl cap.
Okay, didn’t we say stock up on loose-fitting pants? Another style trick to learn from Elisse is to stick to one color hue in varying shades. So when you’re planning swimsuit-coverup pairings, the result is always a clean, streamlined look.
Never the type who goes OTT in her OOTDs, Elisse sticks to solid summer hues with only a teeny, tiny printed accent—by means of a fabric hair bandana. It’s a low-key way to make your look a notch more interesting, and keep your hair off your face!
Ahhh, classic polka dots. Elisse veers away from the loud and proud florals and bursting tropical prints and chooses to wear a low-cut, polka dot onesie. Chic.
While summer is the perfect season to go all-out with colors and prints, Elisse keeps it toned-down. She wears a nondescript pair of roomy pants with her rainbow-colored bikini top—this piece obvs being her outfit’s center of attention.
