JD Sports just dropped new colorways for Puma Speedcat Ballets
It seems Valentine's came early with these new colorways. The bordeaux pair of the Puma Speedcat Ballet Lace is more reminiscent of wine than the bright red the Speedcat is known for, with white lace, elastic straps, along with white and red bows tampering its moodiness. The other pair has a beige leather upper, accentuated with maroon lace on the side. Its straps are in that bordeaux shade and a mauve one for contrast, complete with red and white bows.
The pair is priced at P5,200, but sizes are already sold out on the website, and only the beige one is listed online. You're better off checking stores in person or checking availability with a quick phone call!
Before you coo over the new colorways of the Puma Speedcat Ballet Lace, do know that JD Sports dropped the same silhouette in neutral shades around Christmastime last year. There was a metallic silver pair decked out in black lace on the side, complete with a black sole and a black Puma logo embroidered by the toe. It came with both silver and black suede elastic straps for that snug fit, capped off with contrasting silver and black bows.
The black edition is the exact same but in reverseâit has a black leather upper with white lace and a white embroidered Puma logo. Elastic straps in silver and black also complete the pair, with bows in contrasting black and silver for that added touch of whimsy. All the pairs have movable and removable bows so you can play around with the pair's overall look when you wear it out and about.
Unlike the usual Speeedcat or Speedcat Ballet, this coquette iteration uses leather with a matte or satin finish, making it easier to clean and maintain compared to its suede siblings. Though the material may be different, it features the same Ortholite sole and a cushioned collar lining at the heel area for maximum comfort.
