You've seen this year's round of hot college boys and fasyon college chicks, but a Cosmo.ph roundup won't be complete without a What's In My Bag: College Edition! That's why, when we visited De La Salle University Manila, College of Saint Benilde, and Enderun College, we marched up to four girls with one mission: to raid their purses.
First up is Kat Gamo, a 19-year old gal taking up Marketing Management at Enderun College. Just by looking at her Hermès tote, you can tell that she has a good eye for bags. A chic investment, we think. And when you open her bag? Well, say hello to her friends Tory, Jimmy, and Miuccia Prada!
Next is her schoolmate, Erin Lane. The 19-year old Business Administration student got her beige bag from her trip to a night market in Hong Kong. We ambushed her as she ran from her dorm just across the school and got her to spill the contents of her bag for Cosmo.ph. Rather than stashing girly items, she keeps her school stuff a top priority by bringing only her planner, calculator, and pencil case. She told us that even her laptop can fit inside the roomy bag!
Then there's Marika Anareta, 21, a DLSU Communication Arts major who gladly spared us a couple of minutes after her television production class. She allowed us to raid her brown Longchamp backpack, a change from the Le Pliage bags we're all used to seeing. As a senior with a lax schedule, Marika admits to overpacking whenever she goes to school. "I just like making sure I don't leave anything behind and I have everything I need," Marika says. You'd be surprised to see how much her trusty backpack can hold.
And lastly, Hotel and Restaurant Institution Management student from CSB, Cassie Santos, 21, showed us the contents of her Mango bag. This aspiring chef shares, "I like that my bag is big, I can store as much stuff as I can in it. Plus, it's easy to carry. And, being in the kitchen a lot, you wouldn't want to risk bringing a designer bag." She even adds, "I usually bring my makeup kit with me; it's kind of required in my course to look absolutely shipshape!" And true to what she said, her bag does contains a lot of lust-worthy makeup and hygiene essentials.
